Hamachi Sashimi with Finger Limes

Hamachi is one my favorite fish to eat raw!

I just knocked out this killer little sashimi dish garnished with some of the finger limes I picked up yesterday at Nijiya Market. I sliced the hamachi, also called yellowtail or Japanese amberjack, and added some of the tiny juice vesicles from the finger limes over the top. Over it I also sprinkled a few black sesame seeds, a couple of chive batons, and a few drops of ponzu. I garnished the plate with a few pieces of the exotic limes and some minced pickled daikon (the yellow stuff).

It ended up beautiful and delicious!

See how cute the finger limes are? They are precious!
